• Meg Coyne, LCSW

Meg enjoys working with adult individuals or couples who are coping with challenging life events, those who are feeling stuck, and anyone hoping to create positive change for themselves. Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety, depression, sexual issues, relationships, stress, career issues, and trauma.

By providing a nonjudgmental, safe, and collaborative space to process difficult emotions, Meg aims to help her clients affirm their authentic selves. You will be encouraged to connect with the many different parts of you, discover a healthy work/life balance, and care for everything important in your life. All of these things can be possible even when everything is unfolding in a way that seems much harder than you imagined.

Meg views therapy as a collaborative, strength-based process where the client and therapist work together to establish healthier ways of coping and by paying attention to the parts that have been stressed and hurt. The worries you hold will be respected and we’ll find the self-compassion and caring inside of you. Eventually, the challenges you are struggling with will shift to the side and your talents and gifts will begin to surface. You’ll again find joy and fun!

Meg earned her master’s degree from Loyola University and received a Marriage and Family Therapy Certificate at the Center for Family Health in Chicago. Prior to working in private practice, she spent her early career working in schools. She enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, hanging out with her goofy cats, and traveling.
